When you see many parts of the world, you get a sense of how great things are, you find beauty in places and things that the locals has lost app
reciation for. See how culture differ from your very own, in some cases, while only a few hundred miles apart. People are nice, things are nice, venues are nice. You find yourself taking snapshot of small things that somehow “wow” you.
Traveling to different countries can change you, especially if you embed yourself into the local culture. Immersing yourself into the culture, even in a third-world country can be great for the locals as well. They may see how down-to-earth people are from other countries and give them a sense of a slightly nicer world.
#10 Traveling and seeing the world makes the world seem slightly nicer.
